The San Luis Obispo Blues finished off a sweep of Top Speed Baseball and extended their winning streak to eight with a 7-3 victory on Sunday afternoon at Sinsheimer Stadium.

Five Blues pitchers combined to allow just five hits and three runs. Offensively the Blues had 10 hits including a 3-4 day with an RBI for Daniel Mengden from Texas A&M.

The Blues improve to 11-4. The team will get it's first day off since June 5 on Monday. On Tuesday the Blues will start a three game series at Santa Barbara. Last year the Blues and Foresters tied for the California Collegiate League Championship. The teams are in first and second this season. Santa Barbara is 4-1 in the league while the Blues are 6-2.
