The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors is expected to discuss a request to hold off on the licensing renewal process for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant Tuesday morning.

The meeting follows a request from Supervisor Adam Hill, to delay the application until further seismic studies are completed. In a letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Hill writes about the discovery of a fault line in 2008 which is just 1,800 feet offshore from the plant.
