An investigation is underway today after a man's body is recovered from the ocean.
Pismo Beach Police say a little past 11:00 a.m. Sunday two paddle boarders found the man in the ocean, west of Boeker Avenue.
They say the paddle boarders brought the man to shore to help him, however he was dead.
The man was 34 year old Jonathan Blankenship of Southern California.
His twin brother, Jason Blankenship, says his brother fell off a high cliff.
"This condition is not safe, its not even acceptable and they need to do something, or else there's going to be multiple lives at stake, forever," said Jason Blankenship.
The Pismo Beach Investigation Bureau and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Coroner Office are conducting a joint investigation into Blankenship's death.
