Body recovered from Oceano Dunes

The SLO County Sheriff's office says a body was recovered on the shore of the Oceano Dunes. It is believed to be the body of a 60-year-old man from Santa Maria who failed to return home Friday after fishing at the Guadalupe beach, but authorities have not yet identified the body.

Two fisherman originally spotted the body on the shore Saturday, but by the time crews arrived it had washed back out to sea.
