Body washes ashore in Pismo Beach State Park area

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department says a man's body washed ashore at Pismo Beach State Park, near Grover Beach, around 6:30 this morning.

Deputies had to drag the body out of the surf.

Investigators are still trying to identify the man, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
