Body washes ashore near Hendry's Beach

The Santa Barbara Police Department tells KSBY News a body has washed ashore near Hendry's Beach in the Santa Barbara area. A caller reported the body washed ashore at the bottom of the 1,000 steps near Mesa Lane.

Officers are on their way to the beach to investigate.
