SAN MIGUEL - (UPDATE) The Vandenberg AFB Explosive Ordinance Team and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department are looking into why a vintage Korean War era live artillery round ended up in a neighborhood in San Miguel Tuesday night.
SLO County Sheriff's deputies sent the Vandenberg bomb technicians to a home in the 600 block of Poquita Lane in San Miguel after deputies say they discovered the shell during a probation search.
The Sheriff's Department watch commander tells us it may have been taken from Camp Roberts.
No one was arrested in connection to this case.
