Boy Scouts meet to decide policy on gay Scouts

GRAPEVINE, Texas (AP) - A two-day meeting of leaders of the Boy Scouts of America will be closely watched as the organization considers a change to its long-standing ban on allowing openly gay boys to be members.

Officials are scheduled to open the first of the ballots today. Gay adult Scout leaders would still be banned.

A final vote is scheduled tomorrow.
