Brief break from the rain, new storm arrives late next week

Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, then mostly clear skies. Lows will be in the upper 30s and 40s with northwest winds at 15 to 25 mph.

Monday, you can expect plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s with northwest winds at 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.

The sunshine will continue through Wednesday. Then, another storm system will move in on Thursday or Friday with a possibility of heavy rain next weekend.
