WILDOMAR, Calif. (AP) - A 10-acre fire has hopscotched through brushy areas in the small Southern California community of Wildomar.
The Riverside County Fire Department says the blaze erupted shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday as temperatures soared to 103 degrees in the semi-rural region south of Lake Elsinore.
More than two-dozen engines and 163 firefighters were dispatched, along with a helicopter and two air tankers.
There are no reports of evacuations.
Winds are estimated at 12 mph.
