Kelli Groves was in Santa Barbara today to thank the Santa Barbara Fire Department for their part in helping to save her and her two daughters' lives after their car accident earlier this year.
On January 12, Groves was driving on Highway 101 near Buellton when her BMW was hit by a semi-truck driven by Charles Allison, Jr.
She and her children were trapped inside a mangled car that was dangling over a bridge.
Allison died in the crash.
Nikki Ibarra will be in our San Luis Obispo studio newsroom with the full story tonight at 11.
