Lilly Bumpus, the baby from Arroyo Grande who has been battling cancer, underwent her eighth surgery Friday morning.
Lilly's mother tells KSBY the one-year-old is doing well.
Doctors removed a mass found on Lilly's chest, and they'll be performing a biopsy to see if her cancer has returned.
Lilly battled Ewing's Sarcoma, which is an extremely rare form of cancer.
The doctors told the Bumpus family that they're hopeful the mass is not cancerous.
Results from the biopsy will be released next week.
