The sun is back, but it's going to be chilly for the next couple days. Below normal temperatures are expected to continue through Tuesday. Warm and dry conditions are forecast for the remainder of the week with some areas seeing temperatures in the 70s.

The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory. It remains in effect until 10:00 a.m. Monday. Sets could reach 9 to 11 feet with some at 14 feet. Surf will be highest on west and northwest facing beaches. The high surf will cause rip currents. If caught in a rip current do not try to swim against the current. Swim across the current until away from the strong flow and then swim to shore.

There's also a gale force wind warning, which remains in effect until early Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service says winds could range between 24 to 38 miles per hour.

Stay warm and have a great week!
