Bus fees could increase for local students

Some San Luis Obispo students may have to pay even more to take the bus to school next year. Lucia Mar Unified School District Trustees will be discussing Tuesday night whether to increase transportation fees. This past school year, regular-fee students had to pay $190 dollars to ride the bus. Next year, they're looking at making it $270. Reduced-fee students had to pay $100. However, if trustees approve the increase it could jump to $145.
