Bus fees will increase for local students

Some San Luis Obispo students will have to pay even more to take the bus to school next year. Lucia Mar Unified School District Trustees voted to increase transportation fees Tuesday night. This past school year, students had to pay $190 to ride the bus. Next year, they will be required to pay $270. Those students who qualified for reduced-fees had to pay $100 last year. It will now jump to $145.
