This year some teachers and students are having a harder time than ever getting their much-needed school supplies, but one local organization is here to help.
KSBY is teaming up with the United Way to help Stuff The Bus!
The donation drive kicked off yesterday in San Luis Obispo County, and organizers say the bus is already filled with boxes. You have until Friday to drop off items at the Office Max locations in Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.
"Hand sanitizers is a big one, for the teachers, i hear. But anything like binders or books, or things they can write in, is needed," said Alexis Okumura, SLO United Way Board of Directors.
Stuff The Bus kicks off in Santa Barbara County August 19th. For a complete list of supplies hours and locations just head to ksby.com and click on Stuff The Bus.
