Emergency crews have responded to a total of seven vehicle accidents at the Oceano Dunes during this Labor Day weekend, including one where a Bakersfield teenager was paralyzed from the chest down.

According to one state park peace officer, six of those accidents involved ATV's and two of the victims were juveniles.

Officers also made a total of eight arrests, two of which were for driving under the influence. Besides the accident involving Bakersfield teenager, Tyler Schilhabel, none of the other accidents was life-threatening.
