Cabrillo soccer gets Regional bid

Despite losing on Saturday in the CIF-Southern Section Divison 5 championship game, Cabrillo received a bid to the CIF Southern California Regional. The Conquistadores are the number five seed in the Division 2 Regional. Cabrillo (20-7-4) will open at Highland (20-6-2) from Bakersfield on Monday. There are three divisions for girls soccer with eight teams in each. La Serna, who beat Cabrillo, 3-0 on Saturday is the number six seed in the Division 1 tournament.
