Cal Fire officials were busy Sunday battling several small fires along the Central Coast.
One fire broke out in the 3900 block of Upper Lopez Canyon Drive in Arroyo Grande.
According to officials, the fire only burned three acres and spread very slowly. Fire officials were able to contain it quickly. They say it was caused by downed power lines.
A separate fire happened around three p.m. Sunday off Riverside Road in Nipomo.
The above photo was taken by Cal Fire officials at the scene. They say the fire was close to some homes so multiple engines were called out to help.
That fire was also burning slowly so they were able to contain it quickly.
It burned just under an acre of land. The cause is still under investigation.
One other small fire was reported in the river bottom in Shandon. Officials say it was caused by illegal burning, and a ticket was issued.
