Cal Fire is on scene of brush fire near Pirates Cove

Cal Fire is working to gain control of a heavy brush fire near Pirates Cove. It's located at the end Cave Landing Road Fire by a popular hiking spot just north of Shell Beach.

Fire officials say that about 3 acres have burned and they are working down hill fighting the fire.The fire is burning through heavy brush. Cal Fire has structure protection underway for Sycamore Hot Springs.
