The Cal Poly baseball team (27-5, 5-1 Big West) is visiting Hawaii for a three-game Big West series. It's the Mustangs first game on the road in over a month and they enter having won 9 of their last 10 games.
First pitch is set for 9:35 p.m. Pacific time on Friday and Saturday and 4:05 p.m. on Sunday. Matt Imhof (7-3, 2.74 ERA) will start for the Mustangs on Friday with freshman Slater Lee (2-1, 5.88 ERA) set to start on Sunday and Casey Bloomquist (6-2, 5.02 ERA) on Sunday. Matt Cooper (3-2, 1.60 ERA) will start on the mound for Hawai'i on Friday, followed by righty Scott Kuzminsky (3-3, 3.30 ERA) and Scott Squier (2-2, 3.04 ERA).
Hawai'i is 14-16 overall and 2-4 in the Big West. Cal Poly topped the Rainbow Warriors two out of three games in last year's Big West series at Baggett Stadium, winning the first two by scores of 8-3 and 3-2 and falling 7-6 in the finale.
The Mustangs will travel to Cal State Bakersfield on Tuesday before returning home for a three-game series starting Thursday against Cal State Fullerton.
