Some young athletes are getting pointers from the Cal Poly baseball team.

Cal Poly and the YMCA are sponsoring four baseball clinics this spring at the college's Bagget Stadium.

Dozens of kids 12 and under can bring their gear and learn techniques from coaches and players.

The second clinic was held this afternoon and kids 12 and under can still attend the next two.

"You always look up to the older kids that are playing and you have asperations of hopefully one day playing at that level and I hope these kids are inspired", said Cal Poly Baseball Head Coach Larry Lee.

The next clinic will be next Monday, and the final clinic is on April 8th.
