Cal Poly dorm vandalized

Cal Poly University Police are investigating a case of vandalism that occurred in university housing.
They say someone tampered with the fire sprinklers on the fourth floor of one of the Cerro Vista Apartments, causing major damage to four apartments.
The vandal used matches to activate the sprinkler head, setting off the fire alarm system.
The flooding displaced 16 students from their apartments.
No one was hurt in the incident.
