Coming off their biggest win of the year, the Cal Poly men's basketball team returns to action at 6pm tonight in Anaheim.
Cal Poly, the number six seed in the tournament, will take on third seeded Long Beach State in the second round of the Big West Conference Tournament.
The Mustangs beat UC Irvine last night in the first round 73-69. Cal Poly trailed by 14 midway through the second half but rallied back for the victory. Lorenzo Keeler led the Mustangs with 27 points and matched 30 year old Big West Tournament records with 16 converted free throws. The victory was Cal Poly's first postseason win since 2007.
Cal Poly split the regular season series with Long Beach State. Tune in to KSBY News at 10pm and 11pm for highlights and post-game reaction.
