Cal Poly is remembering those affected by suicides.
Tuesday night, students, faculty and staff held a candlelight vigil in honor of those impacted by suicide, trauma, and mental health issues.
A suicide prevention forum was also held on campus last week, but it was scaled back after a student committed suicide a few days ago.
"We want students to know that we are here to help them and that we have the resources for them on campus and off campus so we are here for them," said Cynthia Paz of the Health and Counseling Services department at Cal Poly.
If a Cal Poly student needs help, they can contact counseling services at 805-756-2511.
