Cal Poly senior Andre Dome is ranked 20th in the nation in singles in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Preseason Poll.
The Arroyo Grande High graduate was ranked #40 as a junior and defeated six nationally ranked opponents. Dome posted a 16-4 record overall in dual matches in singles. He went a perfect 7-0 and did not drop a set in Big West play. He became just the second individual from Cal Poly to be named the Big West Conference's Player of the Year.
Dome enjoyed a successful summer where he won the 126th annual Southern California Open Section Champions to qualify for the Farmers Classic. The tournament is the longest running annual professional sporting event in Los Angeles and offered prize money of over $1 million. He defeated players who qualified for Grand Slam tournaments like the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
