Cal Poly's Kobinski earns Scholar-All West Region team

Cal Poly senior Cici Kobinski has been named to the 2012 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-West Region team. She received first team honors, one of only 13 athletes chosen for the first team honor.
Kobinski majors in biology with a 3.55 grade point average. In the 2012 season, Kobinski scored four goals, seven assists and a total of 15 points.Kobinski also was named to the Big West All-Conference First Team and named Midfielder of the Year.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career; start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team.
