Cal Poly's Elise Krieghoff has earned Big West Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors.
The midfielder led the Mustangs to a 2-0 Big West start and a tie atop the conference standings as they defeated Pacific (4-1) and UC Davis (1-0). The freshman was a huge factor in each contest. Against the Tigers, she recorded two goals and launched a team-high nine shots for the game.
She tallied her first game-winning goal of the season against the Aggies, pouncing on a rebound in the 12th minute and scoring to the back right corner. It was Krieghoff's team-leading sixth goal of the season, which also moved her into a tie for the Big West lead.
