Cal Poly's Pridham makes history, named Big West Offensive Player of the Year

For the first time in program history, Cal Poly men's soccer star Mackenzie Pridham was named the Big West Offensive Player of the Year. The junior forward scored 11 goals to rank second in the Big West and his six game-winning strikes led all Conference players.

Pridham is just the fourth player in school history to score double-digit goals in a season and his 11 ranks #3 all-time on the list.

Pridham and sophomore defender Nolan Moore were named to the All-Big West First Team. George Malki and Benny Estes were Second Team selections. Senior forward Chris Gaschen and freshman goalie Wade Hamilton were honorable mentions.

UCSB's Nic Ryan was named the Big West Midfielder of the Year, while Ema Boateeng received Freshman of the Year.

Cal Poly plays in the Big West semifinals on Wednesday night at Cal State Northridge.
