Cal Poly sorority raises over $30,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties

The Chi Omega sorority at Cal Poly raised over $30,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties after their mock casino event Saturday night.

They hosted "Chi O Casino." It's their annual philanthropy event where guests from throughout the community can come play blackjack, roulette, poker, and craps.

"Saturday night's event was absolutely amazing from start to finish. i'm so happy with how everything turned out, and how much fun everyone was having supporting an amazing cause like the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We raised over $30,000 that will all go towards helping some incredible local children and families. I couldn't be more proud or excited with how successful Chi O Casino 2013 was," said Sheighlin Macaskill, the event chair.

$30,000 will allow the sorority to grant six wishes to local kids. If you didn't make it out to the event last night, you can still donate.

Just send cash or a check made out to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties to 700 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405, Attention Sheighlin Macaskill.
