Cal Poly student spins to win on Wheel of Fortune

A Cal Poly student brings home some big money after spinning one famous wheel.

Fourth year Biology major Katie Berger appeared on Thursday night's episode of Wheel of Fortune. She is an Honors student and a campus ambassador and is apparently pretty good at solving puzzles too.

Her skills took her all the way to the bonus round and she seemed to have no trouble there either. She named the answer to the final puzzle in a couple of seconds.

All together, Katie won $49,493 in cash and prizes.
