Cal Poly Wrestling loses to NDSU

The Cal Poly wrestling team is now 2-2 after a 35-6 non-conference dual loss to North Dakota State. Devon Lotito and Spencer Empey were the Mustangs only winners in the teams home opener. The Bison improve to 3-3.

Lotito posted a 6-1 decision over Justin LaValle at 133 pounds to improve to 14-7 on the year while Empey was a 9-7 winner over John Gusewelle at 285 pounds to lift his record to 11-8.

The eight Mustang wrestlers who lost Saturday produced a total of two takedowns and no near-fall points.
