Cal Trans is asking commuters to avoid the Cuesta Grade as it remains closed due to bridge deck roadwork.

Crews are working to reopen the fast lane as soon as possible for commuters.

Motorist should expect major delays of at least an hour when traveling southbound on Hwy 101.

At this time Cal Trans is urging motorist traveling from the north part of the Central Coast to consider an alternate route.
