A 56-year-old Lompoc man was arrested Friday for having Methamphetamine, weighing scales and firearms in his home.

Lompoc Police Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant on Stanley Robert West at his residence in the 600 block of East Pine Avenue.

Officers said they found evidence of narcotics trafficking including packaging material, weighing scales, and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine. They also discovered a short barreled .22 caliber rifle, a Smith and Wesson 9 MM handgun and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Officers said they also found evidence of drug manufacturing in the form of processed Poppy Plants at West's residence.

West is charges with three counts of sales of controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, drug manufacturing, felon in possession of firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, and possession of dangerous weapon.
