OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Police are looking for three suspects after an officer was shot in the arm during a confrontation in Oakland.
The Contra Costa Times reports (http://bit.ly/Wjbj1K ) police were notified about the shooting shortly after 6:20 p.m. Monday. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
Police believe at least two of the suspects were armed at the time of the shooting. One weapon was found by officers.
It wasn't immediately known what led to the confrontation or whether officers fired any shots.
