An antique shop owner in Cambria faces felony charges for having illegal firearms in his business, and selling them, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department.

A San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Detective purchased a weapon from the man at his business, "Preston's Antiques," in the 1500 block of Main Street in Cambria.

According to the Sheriff's Department, Larry Preston, 60, bypassed the dealers record of sale (DROS). The DROS is a required state form identifying authorized dealers.

Detectives found several other firearms, along with evidence Preston had sold firearms from the business before.
