Cancer survivors will be honored this weekend at French Hospital Medical Center.
On Saturday, February 27, the Central Coast Oncology Nursing Society and the Hearst Cancer Resource Center will host the 2nd Annual Survivorship Celebration from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hospital's auditorium.
A panel of six survivors will share their inspirational journey to wellness and talk about their passion for making a difference in the lives of others faced with a cancer diagnosis.
Keynote speaker Sherry Lebed Davis, a therapeutic movement expert, will present "Surviving is Important, but Thriving is Elegant...for Cancer Survivors."
Local cancer organizations will also host exhibits to educate and inform the public about the latest in treatment, services and programs available to survivors.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m.
