Car accident sends two people to the hospital

Two people were trapped inside their truck on Saturday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident in Lompoc.
Crews from the Lompoc Police Department, the Lompoc Fire Department and medics responded to the crash on H Street around 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
Investigators say a Kia utility vehicle was driving south in the 1400 block of H Street when it clipped the Ford truck, causing it to spin, roll, and land on its roof.
After crews got them out, they were both taken to the hospital.
The female driver of the truck had major injuries, and the male passenger had minor injuries.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
