Breaking news out of Paso Robles. Right now multiple agencies are responding to a fire on Charlois Road. One car is in flames after hitting a power pole.
Neighbors say they heard a big crashing sound and that right after that power went out shortly before 10 tonight. Minutes later they saw a helicopter with big spotlight circling over the highway near the Walmart area off Niblick road.
The accident happened at charolais and South River Road.
They say there are still lots of sirens, but the power just came back on. The power outage effected a large area in the area. 838 people are without power after 4 arms on the pole involved in the crash were damaged. It's not known when that power will come back on.
KSBY has a crew on the scene. Stay tuned to KSBY and ksby.com for continuing updates of this developing story.
