Car crashed into popular restaurant in Morro Bay

An elderly man backed out of a parking lot on Thursday afternoon in Morro Bay crashing into a popular restaurant in Morro Bay.
According to the restaurant owner , the driver accidently pushed the gas instead of the brake causing his car to get wedged into the front doorway of the Hofbrau restaurant.
The action caused the white SUV to get wedged in the doorway.
There were no injuries reported. The vehicle and restaurant had minimal damage.
