Car crashes into home in Santa Maria

UPDATE: Santa Maria Police are investigating how someone crashed a car into a home on Wednesday night.
Police say the people inside the home were asleep when a car crashed into their home on the 1800 block of North Lincoln just after midnight.
Neighbors reported someone running through yards and over fences. Police found the driver of the car and took him to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police say a passenger in the car was found in the bushes outside of the home.
The people inside the home were not hurt.
Officers think alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
