Templeton mixed martial arts fighter, Castle Williams won the Bantamweight championship at the King of the Cage, Future Legends 14 card in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Williams forced his opponent, Christian Cardona, to submit midway through the first round with a rear naked choke hold.
Williams is now 7-0 in his amatuer career after winning the previously vacant title. Before the fight Williams said he would like to go pro if he were to win.
Williams owns The Pit North in Atascadero with his mom and trains at The Pit in Arroyo Grande with trainer John Hackleman. Hackleman was in his corner during Saturday's fight.
