Around 100 cattle made their way through the streets of Paso Robles Wednesday morning to kick-off this year's California Mid-State Fair.
The cattle drive started at 10 a.m. at Barjon Auto Center and made its way through various streets in the city before arriving at the Paso Robles Event Center around 11:30 a.m.
KSBY's Jeanette Trompeter was one of about 65 riders at the cattle drive and will be live at the fair tonight with Dave Hovde and Connie Tran on KSBY News at 5 and 6.
The fairgrounds open Wednesday at noon.
