Cause of early morning bedroom fire under investigation

Santa Barbara city fire officials are investigating a blaze that ripped through a bedroom of a home early Monday morning.
Fire crews were called to the home on the 1400 blk. of Chino St. at about 1:00a.m. They say no one was at home at the time the fire began, so firefighters had to force their way into the home. Crews were able to contain the fire to one bedroom in about ten minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
