The United Blood Services' 40-foot bus has undergone a face lift, inside and out.
The interior was completely gutted and replaced with new lights, flooring and donor beds.
It also has a new air conditioner for donor comfort and the exterior has a fresh coat of paint.
"With the improvements that we were able to make to our existing bus, we should get another 8 to 10 years use out of it," said Jeff Davis, spokesperson for the Blood Bank.
The blood bank decided to refurbish the 14-year-old bus because buying a new one would have cost three times as much.
