Central Coast native sharing in Glee's Emmy Award limelight

It's all about singing Glee's praises at the 2010 Emmy Awards.
The hit musical-comedy show is nominated 19 times, and a Central Coast native is sharing the limelight.
Harry Shum attended Judkins Middle School in Pismo Beach.
He plays Mike Chang, a jock who joins the glee club.
Shum's middle school Drama Teacher Michael Liebo says it is rewarding to see one of his former students make it big in the entertainment industry.
"He is a creative kid that had this unbelievable chutzpah, he could do it all," said Liebo. "He could sing, he could dance, his acting was sensational, he was just a fun kid to work with."
Shum has also been part of several dance films, including Stomp the Yard.
He has been a lead dancer for Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson.
An interesting fact, he was also a silhouette for the now-famous iPod commercials.
