Friday was the deadline for California school districts to notify temporary employees that they may not have a job next year.
Nearly 70 preliminary layoff notices were handed out in San Luis Obispo County, but there were none in Northern Santa Barbara County.
San Luis Coastal Unified School District - 23
Paso Robles Joint Unified School District - 27
Templeton Unified School District - 6
Atascadero Unified School District - 13
Lucia Mar Unified School - 0
Santa Maria Bonita School District - 0
Santa Maria Joint Unified High School District - 0
Those who received the notices will find out on May 15th whether they will keep their jobs. That's when Governor Jerry Brown releases his revised state budget.
