Monsoonal moisture moves in from the east resulting in increasing clouds. There is a slight chance of spotty showers and possibility of thunderstorms beginning today through Monday. Thunderstorms could be seen in the upper elevations of Santa Barbara County. By the middle of the week, fair weather should return as high pressure builds to the east and monsoonal moisture lifts north. A moderate southerly swell will bring an increased risk of dangerous rip currents along Central Coast beaches this week.
