There are some changes to the WIC program that will be a big boost for families in need.
The program is pushing parents to buy healthier foods such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables for their children.
In addition, the tight economy has many more families eligible for the WIC program and those involved want people to know who qualifies for the help.
