One local zoo is showing its appreciation for our military and their families.

The Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero is inviting all active duty military service men and women, along with their families, for a free day at the zoo.

The zoo's Armed Forces Day is Saturday, November 12th. All you need to do is bring a valid military ID to get in.

The zoo is open seven days a week, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
